New Business
- Review the nomination – One nomination for a dog was received. Discussion followed for each section of the nomination.Bethann will email the AKC official points and progeny reports to the committee members for further review. Robin and Tawney will research and send emails to the committee with specific answers to questions that were raised during the discussion.
- Old/new committee members – A special thank you to John Bishop and Jeff Janousek for their service on the Hall of Fame committee. Both have completed two terms and therefore must leave the committee per the By‑Laws.The committee will think about names of people to approach about joining the committee. If more than two people are interested in the positions, an election will be held per the by‑laws.
- NCC Owner bag item donation – Tawney suggested that the Hall of Fame donate scratch pads with the logo on them for the owner bags for the NCC. This could be a good way to promote the Hall of Fame.Bethann was able to find a company that could do 200 pads for $1.04 each. If this many were done then there would be enough for the NACC bags as well. The current balance in the ECSCA Hall of Fame account is approximately $5,500.00. Bethann is waiting to hear the exact amount from Kathy Moseley and will report that back to the committee.Motion by Tawney, 2nd by Robin – Approved
Accept a donation of Hall of Fame scratch pads to the owner bags for the 2023 NCC and NACC.
Old Business
- Kate Romanski plaque – Completed. Thank you, Tom Calabrese, for sponsoring this plaque. This plaque will stand on our cabinet in our wing at the Bird Dog Museum. Katie is honored for all her foundational work for the Hall of Fame.
