ECSFTHFC Committee Meeting

Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at 7:00 pm CDT

In attendance were:  Tom Ness, AR Ginn, Peter Rizzo, Kate Romanski, Keith Meissner,

Absent: Rob Cotiaux, Sheryl Mayo, Larry Hansen

Meeting was called to order at 8:05 pm

Treasurer’s Report

     There is $3843.20 in the Hall of Fame bank account in North Dakota.

     Checks were written to:

                Lawyers (Incorporation)                      $65

                Wendy Haney (Website)                      $160.90

                Hob Brown (Reimbursement)               $2729.90

                Tom Ness (Reimbursement)                 $2900

                Bird Dog Hall of Fame                          $501.25

       There is also approx. $4200 in the ECSCA Field account, the total of both accounts is approximately $8000.

AR made a motion to accept the Treasury Report, Keith seconded the motion.

AR reported that the Bird Dog Hall of Fame is in the process of having the roof repaired and will contact the Construction Company to inquire of the progress being made.

Since Tom is now the Chairman of the ECSHOF he cannot be head of the advisory committee and will need to turn the position to over to someone else. Tom will ask some of the members if they would like to replace him as head of the advisory committee. Barbra Haupt was suggested as an excellent replacement person for this position

Calendar- June 1^st September 1^st nominations for the Hall of Fame should be sent into the Committee, Tom will send out a letter to the Advisory Committee asking for the nominations.  Kate will make an email list of the Advisory Committee to send out nomination information. Keith will work to help her obtain the necessary email addresses. This will make the process much quicker and save the HoF on postage. Kate would like to simplify the nomination form. There are several Dogs and People that are still being held over from prior years nominations. It was discussed and agreed upon that after 3 years a dog will be removed from the list and will have to be re-nominated for consideration in the Hall of Fame.

AR would like to see some articles and pictures from past Hall of Fame inductions to be placed on the website.  Kate has several articles and pictures from past inductions and will send the information to Wendy Haney to be placed on the HoF website.

Tom made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:37 pm Central Time and Pete seconded it.

The next meeting will be Monday July 27th at 7pm Central Time.
