Pin was outstanding dog and his record is impressive to say the least. There are several accomplishments that are truly remarkable, that go beyond National Championship and High Point Dog. Pin Won 13 trials in 3 years at a time when there were only about 5 trials a year to compete in. Shooting Dog Stakes were held at the end of each National. This consisted of the owner shooting pheasants that his dog flushed without professional guns while working his dog at the same time. Pin won the National Shooting Dog Stake twice for his owner Albert Winslow immediately after competing in a 7 series National Championship. He was written about in national Newspapers like the NY Times and NY World as a celebrity several times. In winning his 1955 National Championship he secured the role of leadership for the English Cocker in field trials.
Pins owner Albert Winslow was inducted into the English Cocker Hall of Fame in 2016.
