“Megan” was truly a dog of a lifetime! She began her extremely successful career at just 18 months of age by winning the 2003 National Championship in England. She was imported to the United States right after that by A.R. Ginn Jr. and went on to win the 2003 National Championship in the United States that same year. Her career as an AKC Field Champion in the States continued by earning her AKC Amateur Field Champion title in 2005. All totaled she earned 115 Open All-Age points and 44 Amateur All-age points. Included in these points were 11 Open wins and 5 Amateur wins. In addition to her accomplishments in the field, Megan had a significant impact on the English Cocker breed in the United States. She produced five Field Champions that have gone on to produce numerous others. Megan is the grandmother to four National Champions – you will find her in pedigrees throughout the United States. Megan was always the dog to beat.
