2x NFC FC Mallowdale Naomi

English Cocker Spaniel

Owner: William and Helen Drake

Breeder: Mr. DJA Openshaw

Handler: Fred Bradley

“Jill” has been described as the epitome of a field trial English Cocker. She exemplified the qualities in the breed that made her a beautiful dog and a winner. She was imported to the United States from England in 2003 by William Drake and immediately won the first field trial she ran in. This quickly led to her earning her AKC Field Champion title in 2004 with trainer and handler Fred Bradley. This culminated in winning the 2004 National Cocker Championship. She continued her field trial career placing in 15 more field trials of which she won 7. Jill went on to win the 2007 National Championship which made her the first two-time United States National Champion English Cocker. Jill produced five Field Champions that have carried on her successful legacy in their offspring as well. Jill’s trademark was her consistency – she always seemed to have a knack for shining under the most difficult of field trial situations.
